Technology

A cold room that travels by the pallet.

Self contained refrigeration, microprocessor based temperature control, and a tamper proof enclosure are engineered so a temperature critical shipment can travel on any standard dry freight LTL lane.

How the unit works

Four systems, one sealed enclosure.

01

Self contained refrigeration

The cooling system travels inside the unit. No trailer reefer, no generator set, no shore power dependency in transit and no reliance on the carrier's equipment or driver.

02

Microprocessor temperature control

A digital temperature control system holds the interior within 2°F of the programmed setpoint across the full range, from chilled produce and pharma through deep frozen novelties, with a readable display at the unit. The microprocessor also logs a continuous time and temperature history and alerts the carrier the moment a reading deviates from range.

03

Tamper proof, vault like enclosure

A locking, rotationally molded insulated body protects high value freight through multiple cross dock handoffs. Product stays sealed and accountable from origin dock to consignee.

04

Standard pallet form factor

Forklift pockets, dock height and footprint match ordinary palletized freight, so warehouse crews and LTL terminals handle it with no special equipment or training.

In the network

Built for the carriers you already use.

Because the cold stays with the pallet, a Pallet Reefer shipment tenders like dry freight. That opens up lanes, frequencies and destinations that refrigerated capacity makes uneconomic.

Moves on standard dry freight LTL carrier networks, with no dedicated reefer trailer or truckload minimum.
Rides in mixed loads beside dry goods, so one trailer can serve both sides of an order.
Compatible with HACCP programs and documented temperature control requirements.
Doubles as standalone refrigeration on site: the same role it filled at the 1996 Olympic Games.

Applications

Fresh & frozen food
Meat, seafood, dairy, produce and frozen novelties in LTL quantities.
Pharma & life science
Validated cargo that needs temperature control and can't wait for a full reefer load.
Ecommerce fulfillment
Frequent, smaller cold replenishment to regional nodes and retail.
Events & field service
Temporary cold storage where no permanent refrigeration exists.
